About Jamil 

Jamil has been living in Toronto, Canada ever since he was 6,

practicing spiritual disciplines most of his life. Having a drive to be the best at everything and understanding everything, led him to the world of martial arts, and competitive sports. As Jamil got older he naturally began to look for more efficient, gentler and direct ways to improve his body, mind and emotions. It began with experimenting with different diets, and workout regiments; which he continues to this day. Then he began to integrate a more co-operative and less competitive spirit into his life. Slowly as Jamil began more spiritual integrated practices life started to shift him towards more health, knowledge, and emotional well being. As Jamil's depth of self increased so did new road maps through: teachings, techniques, self-guidance and deeper stillness. This led into lifestyle choices and practices which cultivated deeper awareness and love for oneself. This ultimately led him to the daily practice, cultivation, and living of a Yogic lifestyle. Jamil practices a Holistic and Integrated style of Yoga. The style is known as “Akhanda Yoga.” The style is formless and adapts to each individual, it is a style that nourishes the whole being and increases the connection to ones own inner teacher; called “Atman” or Higher Self. Now Jamil wishes to share his teachings and realizations with more people so that he can grow further by Enriching the life of others.
