Props such as: Foam Rollers, Muscle Hooks, Mini-Massage Ball are used to target specific trigger points throughout the Pelvis and Lower Body. Specific Asanas/Poses are used in tandem with the props to provide a deep stretch at the same time; Decompressing and Lengthen the Spine. Breathing and Awareness tools are used to focus and concentrate in specific areas.

Other Props such as Elastic Bands and Bolsters may be used to deepen the release of certain muscles.

 

 

This will above all else teach you how to heal yourself more effectively. These techniques and practices can be applied to your own practice once the principles are fully internalized.

Themed Classes

My teachings are unique and effective because I teach a Holistic style of yoga that integrates all aspects of the human body, emotions and mind. Each class is themed on a particular energetic, emotional and psychological aspect, as well as providing a full body workout. This approach directly works on individuals on all levels to make them more aware of themselves so that they can learn to be more responsible for their thoughts, emotions and action. I have successfully helped many individuals become more aware of their own gifts and limitations in all areas of their life. With this awareness they can then work to heal, transform, open and express those aspects more fully.

 

Classes are tailored to each individual, based on their strengths and limitations.  The physical difficulty depends on the student or group and the type of class.  Some classes are more gentler by their nature and others more physical.  The breath and not the body guides the individual and thus only an ability to consciously breathe and willingness to learn is needed.  

 

Summary

Themed Hatha Yoga classes - each one focusing on a different element and chakra.  

 

Meditation classes  - 1) Heart Opening 2) Chakra Tuning, Healing and Expanding. 

3) Pranayama   4) OM Meditation  5) Mantra Meditation

Yin Yoga -  Cool the body, emotions and mind.  Release stuck energy. 

 

Self Massage classes - Can do the class with or without a Rumble Roller/foam rollers/tennis ball/tennis balls.  Open energy meridians, improve posture, reduce inflammation, increase range of motion. 

 

Hip Opening classes/Grounding - The hips are a gateway to deeper dimensions of yourself.  As the hips open old fears, insecurities and trauma are released.  More stability and trust is established with a safe and reliable hip opening routine/practice.   

Hands and Feet Openers - Opening the flexibility of your feet and hands, increases the range of motion for your entire body. As your range of motions improves your strength naturally increases without extra effort. They work hand in hand. Learn and deepen your understanding and appreciation for your feet and hand.
